Went into Midnapore KFC; they were sold out. While eating our food I'd say 75% of the people were also asking for one- they told them as far as they knew the entire city was sold out.

Its funny, an hour on the bike at the gym burns off about 400 calories. So I'd have to ride for an hour and a half at least just to burn that thing off.

And I'd still suffer irreparable brain damage from all of the salt.

I bought 2 (1 for me and 1 for a co-worker) at the KFC on 17th ave SW, and there were 4 people behind me and they were the last to get them, and it was probably 11:30 am. Better than I expected the one I had wasn't a complete and utter grease ball and was actually quite tasty, descent for a once in awhile thing but no way could I eat it on a regular basis

My roomate had one tonight. It looked disgusting. It doesn't even come in a wrapper. Just in a box of fries.

I bought one at the midnapore location. I must have gotten one of the last ones because if was a little before noon but not much. There were a bunch of people picking them up. Overall i give it a 7/10. The chicken is good but the salt is too obvious (other burgers seem to hide a similar amount more effectively). Not nearly as breaded as I thought it would be. A little pricey at $7, so it's a one time thing. I'd rather a big mac. Comparable health damage, cheaper and tastier IMO.

I was watching the news this morning and they had a story on the Double Down.

Two interesting things about it.

1) they talked about the ad campaign which isn't about taste or bacon, but its a dare because KFC acknowledges that this thing is incredibly bad for you. To KFC eating this thing is about choice, the choice to go against your health. And they've sold millions of these things already.

2) A doctor stated that eating one of these a weak will seriously compromise your health and knock several decades off of your life span.

How many people here have consumed 2 chicken burgers from McD, Wendys, Burger King etc in one sitting. How can this be any worse for you than those. Its just 2 chicken burger without the starchy carbs of the bun.

I hope the one on Edmonton Trail has some stock on the weekend when I go there, else I will be Taco Belling it.

1.7 g of salt? That's ridiculous. They aren't joking about high blood pressure after a few of these

And one beer should be enough too. Doesn't mean I don't drink six of them.

I ate one yesterday and it was pretty tasty. I wish there was more sauce and more bacon though.

I don't think I'll be having another one anytime soon though because today it feels like there is a brick in my colon.
