Love it
Messi is gonna run circles around Clichy and Sol Campbell, might also be the first time in my life I cheer for a team with Theirry Henry on it
Seems to be setting up for a rematch of last year
some interesting stories though
Man U/Bayern is a matchup of the 1999 CL final which probly had the best finish ever (unless you hate Man U or are a Bayern fan)
As said all ready Henry going against his former team, and 2 french clubs going up against each other
I think it will go
Barca
Inter
Man U
Bordeaux
with Man U and Barca in the finals again

There are no trolls on this site other than you and on occasion Jagger. Not surprising you're confused by it though.
I expected a draw and saw a chance at losing by a goal, I just hoped hoped for a goal which they managed. Too bad they lost but the biggest worry is Rooney. Without the best player in the world at the moment, Manchester United's trophy hopes diminish significantly.

If Rooney is out and Robben is back in I think Bayern have to be favorites to progress
Rooney did look bad, but it was from a twist, which could be anything from a slight sprain to something more serious
will know more tomoro but if he played on saturday against Chelsea it wouldn't really surprise me
what a terrible game for Evra though, he was giving the ball away all game and then that lapse at the worst possible time

I don't give a flying rat's ass about Man U, but I really want to see Rooney fully fit and healthy by June.

People (and some fans) associated with United have resisted the idea that they are a one-man team this season. We'll see if this ends up being the case or not.

Oh nonsense, Jagger never Trolls!
If you expected a draw then you're the single most pessimistic Man U fan ever, look at some of the message boards, a healthy Man U (the greatest team the world has evar seen btw) went into Munich against a Bayern that had:
- No Robben
- No Schweinsteiger
- Injured Klose
- Injured Gomez
So in effect, their top 2 strikers and top 2 midfielders.
Man U smelled blood in the water and were expecting to kill a drastically weakened Bayern side. They didnt get it. This pleases me greatly.
That said, the home leg will be vitally important and still unlikely for Bayern to win.
Also, what did you British Basterds do to Ivica Olic? He really seems to have a genuine hate on for the English.

I'd guess that it has something to do with the semi-acrimonious tournament qualifiers between Croatia and England. Other than that, I've got no idea.

If he is married you should probably direct any further questions to Terry...

Haha! So true!
Man, if I could swing it I'd want Olic and Kuyt to be on the same team, I have never seen 2 players who just work and work and work.
That winning goal was great, Vidic was too busy fouling Gomez to remember to clear the ball.
That was an entertaining game!

I agree to some extent but the circumstances need to be looked at.
If this were to happen at any other time it may give the squad a bit of time to adjust going forward without the go-to guy. For this to happen in the midst of a crucial 3 game (now two) span that could very well determine if they get any silverware this season.
How well they can adjust under severe pressure? Yes.
On being a one-man team? Not so much.

I didn't have an optimistic feel about the game. I know we were expected to win and should have won, but something didn't feel right I guess with the events leading up to the game.
Also, getting expectations and analysis from a Manchester United message board would be like getting Flames analysis from the Fire on Ice forum here. A terrible idea.

Interesting first half at the Emirates. Barcelona all over Arsenal but unable to beat the keeper. Heaps of possession and attempts, but nothing (so far) to show for it. Fabregas very unfortunate to miss the return match at the Nou Camp. Busquets sold the tackle really well.
All Barcelona, but the scoreline is one that Wenger won't be disappointed with. But that will in all likelihood change.

And it has changed. 2-0 to the Catalan giants. In all honesty I don't think that there are many (if any) sides out there that could match this Barcelona side.
Kind of surprised UK ITV is showing a Champions League match - this is usually the domain of SKY.

Wow. What a crazy ass last 20 minutes or so. It looked like it was over when Barcelona went up 2-0 but a quick strike from Arsenal and a bogus penalty and it is even at 2-2.

The ref has been awful, terrible yellow to cesc, then a brutal penalty and red card given against puyol.
