Yeah, Gutsy pick on the Cardinals. I thought all the rest would be close enough that either team would have a chance, but didn't give the Cards a hope.

But that's why they play the games.

I'm a little more surprised by the Chargers. This is a team that was 6-8 facing elimination in KC. Dewayne Bowe drops the Chargers onside kick and saves Norv Turners job and in the same instance was indirectly responsible for the firing of Shanahan in Denver.

All kidding aside, the knock on the Chargers all season was the weakened defense. Yet they were able to hold NFL MVP Peyton Manning to 17 points. I guess they are coming together at the right time.

Lines are now up for the Divisional Round.

Bal .. Ten -2.5
Arz .. Car -9.5

Phi .. Nyg -5.5
Sd .. Pit -6.5

I'm liking Baltimore(+2.5), Arizona (+9.5), Philly (+5.5), Pit (-6.5). Straight up, I think Carolina and NYG advance.

I like Tennessee at home to cover a 2.5 point spread against the Ravens. Yeah, Baltimore has a good defence and they've played a couple of good games. But the Titans are very well coached and I think that extra week to rest up will benefit them.

I think the Panthers will win that game but I think the Cardinals will be able to beat the spread. I don't expect a nail biter by any means, but one of those games where a late touch down makes the final score closer than the 10 point spread.

Philly covers against the Giants as I think they can win that game outright by a field goal.

I also like the Bolts to cover a 6.5 spread against the Steelers. Chargers defence is much improved under Rivera and Pittsburgh isn't exactly an offensive dynamo to start with. I can see that game being like 14-13 or 14-10, even 13-7 for the Steelers, all of which fail to cover the spread.

The Titans will cover so will the Panthers. I like the Eagles and Chargers to win their games.

This Raven/Titan game is a pretty good one...i was sure it would be a snore fest, but both teams are moving the ball better than expected, but defenses are playing well towards the end of the first half.

just as I write this Baltimnore picks Collins at their own 10 yd line. Lots of penalties too/..these clubs dont care much for each other.

Still like Baltimore at this point simply because they are staying even/close and are on the road....all you can ask for.

7-7 at the half....Titans turn the ball over twice deep in Baltimore territory, giving them a repreive.

Sounds a whole lot like a game I watched two nights ago.

Yeah, Titans are moving the ball between the 20's well enough, but once it gets to crunch time the Ravens are finding a way to get the turn over. I don't think you can turn the ball over that much and live to tell. Mind you that Titan defence save one play has been great today. That one Punt that Koch made was unreal, lands about 5 inches from the goal line and pops straight up. No doubt a bit of luck to get it to land exactly like that, but amazing when it does.

It is amazing that the Ravens won a single game this season, let alone 11, with their offense. It is terrible. I would take the Lions offense over them.

The Titans are really throwing the game away and making a lot of mistakes that they didn't make in the regular season.

If either of these teams play like this next week they get smoked by the winner of Pitt-SD.

Titans give it away again in the red zone.

They should be winning this game easily but continue to make dumb mistake after dumb mistake.

Sissy move by Fisher not to go for it, but I guess that is easy for me to say not being on the line if they screw up.

But the Ravens offense cannot move the ball so even if it is stuffed you get the ball back in good field position with enough time to get into FG position to tie before the game is over.

a TD there and the game is basically over as the Ravens aren't going to score a TD against the Titans in that situation.
