This is a great little thread. I'm a lot of a geography nut too and I find people's birthplaces and the like fascinating.
Thanks for starting this thread Dis. Great idea.
People should flesh out their responses some more too with photos and facts about their birthplace. Be proud people!

Jagger I am not sure why you want pictures, (and I dont know if I have any..) but since I was born in Saskatchewan I am sure it was something like this

Fun Facts about Lloyd: We claime(ed?) to be Canadas only Bordercity (AB/Sk) but Flin Flon is also technically a border city (SK/MB)
The Meteor that struck landed about 20 miles south of here, and was actually on my Uncle and Auntys farm.

You can keep it!
I'll stick to my blood pudding, fish buns and lutefisk (I dunno if there's an English name for that one).

Agreed.
Us snooty Norweigans are just fine with the Pudicrib, Lefse, Mutton Stew and lutefisk (ugh).

Interesting that you should post this fact. I was born in Flin Flon and then lived in Lloydminster for a couple years in the early 2000's!

Windsor, Ontario. My favorite player and team when I was a kid was Lanny MacDonald and the Leafs (barf!). I moved to Calgary in the early part of the eighties, Lanny was traded to Calgary, and I came to my senses.
Outside of LIP MAN (my lil' brudder), surprised there's more than one person here that can lay claim to coming from Detroit Jr., Ontario...
