Sounds like my reasoning yeah. I only thought of exactly one musical (at the time, I thought of another one later on) that I really liked, and knowing that there's quite a few other Pink Floyd fans on this site, I didn't want to take chances there.
My goal is to have a what I think is a really good movie (or at least one I like) in every spot. That means a lot of sacrifices in some categories.
My strategy propably means I'll have to watch a lot sports movies to find that hidden gem, but there's plenty of time
TEAM WISHWEDIDAPORNDRAFT would like to select into the black and white category, the Hitchcock classic, PSYCHO
Backed by stunning performances by Janey Leigh and Anthony Perkins, when you hear the term classic horror flicks, PSYCHO has to come to mind. In typical Hitchcock fashion, he decided to go outside the box and kill of the main character in the first half in the often imitated, but seldom duplicated shower scene
Shower Scene
The musical score in Psycho is amazing, truly creepy, maybe the best score i have ever heard. The tension build up in this movie is un-matched. Many directors have tried to re-create the perfect horror movie, many have come close, many have failed miserably, but no one has been able to out-do Hitchcock and his most famous flick, PSYCHO!!
Amazing music score with pics from the movie.
Not sure how you could look at this house and not be creeped out

So I started planning my next picks last night and they were Unforgiven, Psycho and another one. Now that 2 of them are gone I guess that it is good that I choose three.
I'm off on vacation for next week, but I've given my choices to GirlySport, so no one steal my picks! Just kidding. Happy Drafting everyone and have a safe long weekend.

Thank you for not discussing the outside world
I'll be gone for a couple days too. I got suckered into helping my brother move. I always have the most bestest, funnest long weekends evar...
Anyways, my picks have been forwarded to Girlysports. Should any of you pick them before my turn, well, I will hunt you down. That's not against the rules, is it, violence against fellow drafters?
sorry I haven't made my pick yet. I've been helping my friend move for the last day and a half and I'll be at a wedding out of town tomorrow. I will send girlysports my picks as soon as I get back in town. sorry.
With the 2nd round pick for the B-List Celebs we are proud to select in the Action category, Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Action-packed and adventure-filled, RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK is director Steven Spielberg's loving homage to the Saturday matinee cliffhanger serials of his childhood. When the Allies discover the Nazis are planning to use the Lost Ark of the Covenant as a weapon, the U.S. government enlists archaeologist-adventurer Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) to locate the biblical treasure chest where the remains of the broken tablets of the Ten Commandments were placed. En route, Jones and his feisty ex-girlfriend, Marion (Karen Allen), must escape the clutches of evil Nazis, duplicitous "natives," and a nest of venomous snakes--not to mention the wrath of God. The groundbreaking special effects and furious, never-ending pace make for a stylish whirlwind of a movie, topped off with a fabulous sense of humor. This bare-knuckled, barnstorming, pot-boiling, eye-popping bucket of Technicolor popcorn became Paramount Pictures' highest-grossing film, and deservedly so--RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK is quite simple one of the most enjoyable movies ever made.
