2008 NBA Playoffs Thread

When Boston got the "Big 3" before the season began, I picked them to win it all. I heard alot of "they have no bench - they won't go that far" after they apparently traded much of it away for these players, but I said if all 3 are capable of playing 40 minutes a night, you don't need as much of a bench as you think.

First time in awhile i have seen a worst-to-first story as good as the one the Celtics pulled off this year. Congrats.

he won the league MVP because he was the best player on one of the best teams, and it was probably overdue for him to win it.

However, much like Alan Iverson he is a me-first player, especially in crunch time. His head got in his way in the finals and it showed. He is a great individual player, but the s at being a team player.

Lol I was going to post the same thing. It's true though.......Kobe hasn't done it without Shaq.
