Yes, I've had one medium hot chocolate and I don't think I'll be buying more any time soon.

2 for 17 now. Won a coffee off a large cup, and a donut off an extra large. Been buying mostly XL's. Most of them were bought when I was working out of town in Lloydminster...now that I'm home for the forseeable future, I see my luck turing around.

My curiousity and need to multi-task while watching curling led me to do a quick tally of the ratio's posted here, using only everybody's last posted ratio, so it should be pretty accurate.
60 winners out of 352 cups rolled (they all appear the smaller prize items).
So on CP, 1 out of every 5.87 cups rolled appears to be a winner, quite a bit better than the 1/9 odds.
The numbers seem to suggest people on CP are quite lucky, but gauging by the Flames playoff success in the last 17 years, I'm going to blame this statistical anomaly on Locke not posting his winning (or moreso, losing) ratio .

I always forget to roll up the rim, then throw away the cup. There could be a boat in the garbage bin outside.

1/4 L (prize: coffee)
Tim's coffee isn't as good as those premium places of course, but it's cheap and does the job. I used to drink it with just a bit of milk, but the useless automaton server at the kiosk in the Medical Sciences Building at the U of T couldn't get it through her head that "milk, NO SUGAR" meant... NO FREAKING SUGAR! Given their difficulty handling my rather complex order, I have switched to drinking my coffee black. So far they seem capable of reliably pouring the coffee from the caraffe into the cup.
Going to a real Tims is a treat in comparison. The variety of doughnuts is amazing compared to the ghetto kiosk near my lab. MSB also houses a Starbucks, which given the state of the graduate student stipend is at best ironic, and at worst insulting.

I'm currently sipping on coffee #32, I've only won twice so far (I'm bringing the numbers down I know)
I heard a rumour yesterday, that the on the winning cups the pictures printed on them are slightly out of focus (perhaps due to a different printer being used or something?)
I have no idea how true it is, and it's not like I can even check to see myself as I never freakin' win. Any CPers want to compare their winning cups to losing ones?

Nothing really weird about it. They have a TON of locations, have affordable lunches that are pretty good for the cost, and the coffee is good. They've also done an admirable job of building a brand that people want to be attached to.

I'm 1 for 7 with drinks I have purchased and 0-1 with trading in my winning cup for a free coffee. With moving day coming up on Friday, I'll pick up a Coffee here in St.Albert, another one in Hinton, probably grab one in Kamloops when I stop to visit my mom. Depending on how I feel might just stop there for the night, which will mean one for the road before I head to the South Okanagan.

Osoyoos BC, for now (Which has a really good Timmy's because they have lot's of staff and half as many customers as the ones in Alberta). If I ever get rid of my house in St.Albert than I'll try to move closer to Penticton. But for now, Osoyoos is where I can get a free place to stay so it's not so bad. I mean really who wouldn't move away from where I currently live (too close to Edmonton for anyone's liking) to get a free place to stay in Osoyoos and get a better paying job out of it. It was a no brainer for me.

For those wondering about the rumour I heard the other day, I just compared a winning cup (w00p 3/34 now freaks!) to a losing up and I can't tell them apart except that under the rim one says "Please Play Again/Reessayez S.V.P." and the other says "Win/Gagne Toyota Matrix"
