Are you using a PS3 console? You need a control assigned to the same slot so you can control the mike.

I checked today and all of their pre-orders are filled. it looked like 6 360s and 8 ps3s. if you live in greaserville and want one that is a good place to go.

plug the mic in the usb, then turn on a controller. the mic will be assigned to that controller automatically so you can select your band member, adjust volume....ect
Has anyone done the drum mod to make the drums quieter?

Just got home from the Wal Mart in Deerfoot Crossing (130th Ave SE) and they had about 10 of them for the 360.
EDIT: Actually, that area may be called South Trail Crossing, but whatever.

These drums make me want to burn them....................
So hard.. even on medium. My brain can't get around using my eyes, arms and leg at the same time.
I swear to god, playing the real drums would be alot easier.

Lol, unlike the guitar I think skills on these drums can actually be transferred somewhat to real drums!

Hang in there on the drums. It just takes some time. My 9 year old is about to move up to hard. Funny watching him school people online last night doing the tug of war.

Built some foam pads for the drums and it really works well. Now the drums aren't so loud that you can't hear the song.
We have the option of playing the 58 song set. Going to need a second band to rotate in every few songs. How long will it take to play those songs? 6 or 7 hours?
I think the hardest part of this game is finding people good enough to play the harder levels so you can keep getting fans.
