I admit I went through some pretty bad fashion phases, but cross dressing was never one of them.

I hate to be the one to bump an old thread, but is there any place in Calgary, or Canada in general that sells Samurai jeans?

Haha, when I saw the title of the thread I remembered Bibtin_Tex and his tight pants.

Bumping this older thread; didn't feel like my question deserved it's own thread.

This is a question for people that have trouble finding jeans that fit your body type properly. I have really big muscular legs, especially my thighs, and I have trouble finding jeans that aren't ridiculously tight in the upper leg. I wear a 33W 32L jean, but I can't seem to find jeans with a proper waist size and a large enough circumference leg (yes, even relaxed fit jeans). They are either perfect in the waist but so tight in the thigh i can barely walk in them, or nice and comfy in the leg, but the waist is 4" too big.

I wish I could get in contact with Iggy or Martin Gelinas and ask where they buy their jeans.

Can anybody recommend a store that sells jeans which aren't meant only for twig-legged people?

I have big legs too, but I wear a bigger size jean than you do.

Good luck. A 33'' might be a problem. If your waist was closer to 36'' I don't think you would have such a problem.

I buy all my jeans at Marks Work Wearhouse.

Eh, sorry for the bump.

Just came from Vancouver, and my god Metrotown is full of heatbags. Everyone owns something from one of the following: G-star, Diesel, TR, R&R, Energie, etc. I'm not even exaggerating. Every single one of their jeans were minimum 200$ plus the double BC tax. But whatever.

Me's a denimhead so I wear nudies. These will probably last me until I graduate university, and I'm not even finished high school yet. Love them. For people not into raw denim I'd reccomend sevens, Diesels, Jack and Jones, Buffalo, or Guess, all last very very long. If you don't give a flying duck about brand names or are a cheapo, Gap, Mark's, Wranglers, and Levi's are excellent.

Oh and in regards to the argument about tight-fitting jeans a few pages ago, fashion and style is all about individuality and personal expression. If you rip on someone for them wanting to express how they look, then you are pretty pathetic. I get that it's your opinion but judging someone by what they wear is pretty darn stupid. Oh, and tight fitting jeans are majority of what you see nowadays, even from guys. I was pretty disgusted by what CP users were doing back there, even if it was jokes.

I work at Urban Outfitters where every single employee is dressed in some weird but personal way. It's awesome, and they're all fun and normal people. Please don't judge people by what they wear.

Why not?

Experience tells me that if you are wearing Ed Hardy or Christian Audigier you are a ###### bag, I see no reason to not use the knowledge I have gained having to deal with ###### bags in order to save myself the trouble of dealing with yet another Ed Hardy/Christian Audigier wearing ###### bag.

While I agree, plenty of guys that wear names such as Ed Hardy are cocky #######s, but not all of them are.

And it's your opinion on someone else's appearance, thats normal. But in previous pages everyone was concluding a poor guy's sexuality and life style just from the pants he wore.. Ffs I couldnt believe I was reading a Calgary forum. That's the problem i had, people assuming they knew a person's life just from their appearance.

Urban Star jeans from Costco $14.99 kick ass they are all I wear. I'd rather pocket the other $86.

I doubt you'll find any. There are so expensive and the demand is so low, I doubt any stores would stock them. You can buy them online though. Try superfuture.com or denimblog.com to see how the sizes stack up against other brands.

I'm going to Japan next month. May try and see what I can find.

I like the fit of nudies, but they are considered to be non-durable for raw denim. My pair did not last very long before the crotch disintegrated.

I usually go to Mark's Work Warehouse, or Moore's if I want something a little fancier.

Just did a search i nthis thread and nobody mentioned Silver Jeans. Lots of great fits/styles and they are reasonable price. Plus they are a canadian brand!! Heck I cannot keep these damn things in stock no matter how much I keep bumping my bookings up.

For the guys with bigger thighs try the Zac or Gordie. we have a lot of hockey/farm kids here that have the same problem yet they eat up these two fits. If you wanted to Buffalo try Styles that start with "T" or "M" eg. Travis, Matthew.
