Here is an interesting article about Tim Kring's view of the 2nd season. One wonders who is running this show.

Next week should be something that will either make or break this season. Explaining what they've been hiding all season in one episode has the markings of an entertaining episode, but if it leaves me with more questions than answers, I can't say I'm going to be too happy.

This season has been very 'oh, by the way'. Oh, by the way, there's this Adam guy. Oh, by the way, the company had Peter. Oh, by the way, Mika has a cousin with powers too. Oh, by the way, Sylar just so happens to be close to twins with an unimpressive power.

Nothing is anticipated yet. By this time last year, we knew there was going to be a battle against a strong power in Sylar. Now, he's just a throw away character. What do we have to look forward to this season? The twins making it to America, the death of Claire's father? Snoozer...

Haven't read the thread and only caught up to the most recent episode last nite.

This show is tanking. Some of those storylines are so boring and lame i actually fast forwarded them.

I can't believe how crappy this show has gotten so fast. It's like almost Apprentice levels. Ever since that lame season finale.

I mean Zark doesn't even look evil and he is suppose to be badder then Sylar.

Yeah, I agree. I thought that episode was really good at starting to let us know where the plot is going.

What a yawner.

Global virus pandemic? First a nuclear explosion then a virus, this is like 24 with flying teenagers.

What's up for next season? A group of super-powered middle eastern terrorists?

*fart*

Hey thanx for the link to that article. Maybe i will keep watching since Tim apologizes for everything i found wrong with the season this year.

This is great, and I commend him for thinking his own show has been a dud so far this year.

This show is really pissing me off... If people thought LOST was getting hard to follow.. try this season's Heroes.

It's lost it's lustre personally. I'll still watch to see what happens but i'm not the Heroes "fan" I once was.

I think the main difference from last season to this season is that we don't have a "Save the cheerleader" goal. That's what made last season so interesting is finding out how they were going to do that.

What is the goal this season, stop the apademic? Stop the killings of the elders? Get the twins to Suresh? What are they doing? Why are they individuals again, shouldn't they be figuring out all this stuff together?

Seems to me like they are making this show very similar to an X-men style comic. Basically a ton of characters each w/ a different storyline. I don't mind it that much, but that being said what works in a comic book does not necessarily work for television. I can see how a lot of people might not like this style. After all not everyone is a former comic nerd like myself

SPOILER ALERT

Boy this show is starting to turn itself around. Still really do not care about the crying Mexican - but beyond that the storylines are getting more interesting. Love the fact that DL died not from something to do with the final "battle" of last season or from being a firefighters but instead from some relatively random incident in a club.

I have to say I didn't really enjoy tonight's esp.

Spoiler in white

Still too many story lines... no real purpose. Only 3 esp left to tell you EVERYTHING? Going to be rushed IMO.

So, is Adam good? or Evil?

I thought tonight was pretty good, but I STILL think there are way too many characters. A tighter narrative with fewer characters would, in my opinion, preserve all the good things about the show and might help it to move along a little faster.

I'd start by getting rid of emo girl and wouldn't stop until I got to "Bob." Seriously.

you know what i thought was a good idea? reintroducing a character for no reason just to kill them off again in the same episode.

I agree 100%. This episode was exactly what this season needed. Some interesting cliff hangers and a good pace to the show. I think this is the first time this season I'm actually looking forward to next week.

Didn't really know what happened to him tho. This explained it. Sure, he can take a punch through the face... but a tiny bullet seems to be his kyptonite.

I enjoyed this episode... somewhat.

- Veronica Mars is hot. I don't care who you are, you have to agree after that episode.
- I was disappointed to the lack of Sylar. How the hell did he get to Mexico? Who pulled him down the manhole.
- And don't you think that someone who recovers overnight from radioactive burns might be questioned and dissected by scientists, and what about the media... this guy was running for office.

As for Adam, he has an unknowing pawn in Peter, arguably the strongest of the "Heroes". I think, much like the Hiro storyline, he will play the part of the goodie, and then turn, once Peter figures out what's been going on. Fool us twice, shame on us...

The explanation of Peter and Nathan was solid, except for the above, no Claire was a bonus... cause I got my fix of hot blonde for the episode...

I would say the only other complaint was too much BOB. He was in damn near every scene. This guy should not be getting the bulk of the airtime on this show.

Awesome Episode. Now that we know a little more some of the previous episodes have a little more meat on them. Interesting why the writers chose to do it this way. They really took a gamble alienating people
