I'd love to see what you would have to say once you set foot in a place like East St. Louis.

Reg is right. I have retained all of my gruntles, thankfully.

Lanny i never said why i'm proud to be an American. So where the hell you get all those ideas from. And are you ridiculing your troops now huh? No wonder you agree with Kerry on every damn thing he says, cause he once was against the troops as well.

And by the way, you don't know sh*t about patrotism do you Lanny?

You think like Micheal Moore does, Canada is awesome but they couldn't protect their ass if we were attacked by the terrorists.

And keep my comments out of this, or can't you stand my opinion because i actually believe in the honor of serving my country. Typical Democrat.
Okay Junior, the floor is yours. Share with us WHY you're proud to be American (even though you're Canadian).

Now, where the hell did I ridicule the troops? I want the troops HOME where they belong, not fighting an illegal and immoral military action. And don't try and tell me about "patriotism" you little sphincter. You think that patriotism is spewing dogma. Let me share with you what some people a helluva lot smarter than all of us said about patriotism.

Samuel Johnson said that "patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel". This describes the state of nation at this time in its history. You have an unscrupulous group of politicians executing their plans to further their agenda and hiding under the guise of patriotism. That reminds me of what Mark Twain said. "My kind of loyalty was loyalty to ones country, not to its institutions or office holders". Do not be blinded by the rhetoric and see the obvious in front of your face.

Emerson said that "When a whole nation is roaring Patriotism at the top of its voice, I am faint to explore the cleanness of its hands and purity of its heart". I have examined the hands of those involved and they are not clean. The world agrees on this fact. And we have all peered into their hearts and seen that they are cold and dark. You might want to chew on this one for a while. "Guard against the postures of pretend patriotism." Do you know who said that? A true patriot. None other than George Washington.

Malcom X said, "You're not supposed to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or who says it". There is no better quote to describe your behavour. You need to think on this one a long time.

BTW... Canada doesn't have much to worry about when it comes to terrorism. Canada actually has a good reputation abroad and doesn't p*ss in other people's pool. No one has a significant axe to grind with Canada, and Canadians like to keep it that way. Don't p*ss people off, you don't have to worry about them seeking vengence on your population. Canada has one of the best foreign policies in the world and enjoys security because of it.

You know Lanny i won't say why i'm proud to be an American, because on this board nobody understands anyway.

And Canada doesn't have a foreign policy at all, know why? Because we don't have troops to back it up. And don't tell me that we are exempt from terrorism, we are at home, why, because we refuse to help others. We are involved in the UN that does jacksh*t about other countries and cares more about the money they make. And terrorists that carried out 9/11 came through Canada to get into the States. Why didn't we do anything about them, because we look out for ourselves first not what might happen. And also CBC showed something about Nazi's that are being caught living in Canada. Thats great foreign policy right, letting human killers live in our country. Or do you believe that Hitler never did anything wrong, wouldn't suprise me.

You call me right wing extermist, look at yourself first, because you believe that Saddam was a great man, and nuetral force in the Middle East. I believe you have been enjoying the freedoms of North America too much, because your ######ing mind is bent on staying home and not looking out for other countries. Maybe you should have spent a year in Iraq while it was under Saddam's rule, i can certainly tell you your ######ed up views wouldn't be the same.

Maybe you should move to Canada if you think its so great.
