maybe, or maybe it's evidence that the microsoft programs are flawed.

If my Mac had problems with all rubust programs, then I'd tend to blame to computer. Since it has absolutely no problems with all other programs, I tend to blame to program.

What's more logical?
-The flaw is in the system, even though it works great with 99% of programs
-The flaw is in the 1% of programs that screw up

Office:Mac is the most crash prone set of applications I've come across on a Mac. Even more so that it's not a universal binary. That being said, it's all relative. Mac users aren't used to crashes so even 5 a month can seem like a lot.
