Ok, since nobody has explained this yet, I'll give it a stab.
What happened in the video is this:
In World of Warcraft, the most difficult bosses require a group of 40 people to kill, but they only drop 2-3 peices of treasure (or "loot"), so some method of fairly deciding who gets the items must be used. Once an item is looted, it cannot be given to another player. Some guilds will simply roll dice (the game has a built-in system to do this) with the highest number winning, whereas other guilds will use elaborate systems of points that are earned through attendance and then spent on items (to ensure that rewards go to the people who put in the most effort).
A "ninja-looter" is someone who takes an item without permission from the rest of the group without following the pre-established rules on how items are to be distributed.
This video was shot from the POV of the ninja-looter. The guild killed the boss, then the guy took all three pieces of treasure without permission. He then immediately quit the guild and teleported back to town (this is why the scene changed).
Of the three items that were taken (a ring and two helmets), only the ring could actually be used by the ninja-looter, who plays the rogue class. The two helmets cannot be equipped by rogues, and thus they served him no purpose other than to sell to a vendor for a relatively small amount of gold.
