Huska will be fine in my books as long as he helps the younger players develop.

This team doesn’t have a single first line player. They are out talented every night.
People are saying they want a bad but entertaining team? That’s not really practical
This is what having a bad team looks like. The fan base has been crying for this. Now that it’s here are we ready to actually take the medicine?
I mean you can do a Bob Hartley, high risk, high reward system to entertain fans. But the problem with that is your prospects aren't learning proper hockey, and when that coach is canned and the new coach comes in when you're looking to contend, he has to break everyone down to nuts and bolts and start again.

I'll be honest though I'm not sure this passive defensive system helps young players develop NHL level defensive commitment either.

I'd rather they learn now to play a more aggressive defensive zone system that tries to generate turnovers and pressures the puck carrier now instead of having to adjust to that later too.

Huska's system is NOT Sutter's system.

Defensively: Huska is zone coverage. Sutter is man-to-man.
Offensively: Believe it or not, very little structure. Sutter had more structure offensively. I imagine this will start changing with an effort to tighten up defensively as a way to compensate for the lack of scoring, as well as having more set-plays. However, the structures are very different.

For best system should be aggresive Neutral zone system. Stop other team in Neutral zone, don't give space to other team by playing aggressively everytime.
I know Huska trying to implement more safe system suited for current players, but I don't like they give up Neutral zone and blue line so easily and let them skate with the puck with no contact.
