Funny, when the Oilers first hired Stan Bowman as their GM (after he was fired in Chicago for participating in the cover up of a sexual assault in an attempt to prevent it from distracting from a Stanley Cup run), most Edmontonians didn't even consider the Oilers Edmonton's team anymore, let alone Canada's team. Even CP's own Stang hasn't jumped back on the bandwagon of this pitiful bunch of Oiler creeps. Not a single post since he stood his ground on the Bowman hire. I already respected Stang way more than the average Oiler fan, and especially with him holding strong on his stance against that awful franchise despite another long playoff run.

I don't see any self-respecting Flames fan ever cheering for those bums. "Oh but the Canadians!!" Well Florida has plenty of Canadians too. I want those guys to win. I flipped the game on part way through and it was immediately Ron MacLean drooling all over the grease so I had to change it to TNT before I puked. Absolutely everything about the Oilers right down to the national coverage is downright gross.
