Right. What I was meaning was that, when he was drafted, there was supposedly the fitness issue. But it never actually materialized once he made the team.

I do know that no one plays his minutes without being in good shape

If coaches could get their teams to get off to a fast start, every coach would do that, and every team would get off to fast starts every game.

Fans blame WAY too much on the coach - only the players can go out and do it.

I love Frost’s creativity but sometimes he makes really low percentage plays that are very risky

Andersson has played in the NHL full-time for 7 seasons. This is the first time that we are seeing him wilt away near the end of the season.

It's not conditioning

I'd like to see a little more urgency from the Flames.

Someone pulled the plug on Kelly and John.

First and fourth line are going well. The middle six need to pick it up

I'm sorry, but this argument you're making is just idiocy.

No, there are not conditioning issues - he's a professional athlete, and he (like all the players) spends all day every day with the trainers. They are all in great shape.

Some of the things you post are just garbage. Sorry, but they are.

if they get the lead back
they need to simply keep playing.
too much 5 back which let sharks get some momentum again
need to just keep going not letting up.

Is it your premise actually that he is "out of shape"?
Probably the best sign of that not being the case is the 24 minutes a night he is playing. Tough to do that if you aren't in shape.
The -33 shtick is cute.
He's been a great long-term player that has played way above his contract as a home grown player, and has given it all.
But treat him like garbage on the way out.
Great fan.

Play a bad period, get the lead
Play a good period, lose the lead

Great fan.
He’s made 27M last 6 years playing a game. Sorry that I expect better.

He hasn’t played above his contract. -33 is one of the worst players in the NHL.

Gotten worse every year.

If it is tied with 2 min left do you pull the goalie?

Considerably disappointing that this team is tied going into the 3rd against the worst team in the league when they know what's at stake. Tank might finally be on empty.
