There's effort, but it feels very disconnected at times. Effort usually looks worse against teams like Vegas and the Avs because they're just much better. Low skilled teams like the Flames need to work so hard for such little space, where Vegas can put in less of an effort and accomplish more because there's a lot more skill there, it's easier.

But like you said there's still time, it's not over yet.

This is true. And the best strategy against these teams is for the flames to play tight for most of the game and then open it up in the third if they're down.

That's what they've done tonight. I don't mind how they're playing.
