It's hilarious. Not only is it a very small sample size (30 games), but within the 30 games, he had a 8 point in 11 game stretch. It's essentially one small 11 game heater (for a kid that was no doubt being sheltered as much as possible), and they are trying to run with it like he is some kind of stud.

He has never scored or produced at any level but he will in the NHL.

It's not that dumb of a trade. San Jose is going to be bad, but they still need NHL players, and Ceci is an NHL player. Also, as a RHD, they could get further assets for him at the deadline.
