Kinda surprising to learn this is the first time any team hasn't won from 3-0 past 75 minutes in UCL history. New format is probably gonna save them getting into the knockouts, in the old format they'd be in real trouble.

Yeah I get that he's a football psycho and this is the worst stretch of his career, but he needs to chill. You wonder if things like this will cause him to lose the locker room.

The thing is...he is like, a 'Football Trust Fund Baby.'
He's never played for a bad team, he's never coached a poor team, everything hes done has been with teams that have been served to him on a silver platter with unlimited talent and resources.
I think this is probably the first time he's faced any sort of adversity in his career.
So you see Managers with all kinds of pressure on their shoulders and how they respond and react, he's never had to deal with any of that.
So one crumbling result against Feyenoord and he's tearing his face off? That is 'unhinged' behaviour.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

Today Shaktar were up 2-0 on PSV til the 87th minute and lost 3-2.

The Following User Says Thank You to GirlySports For This Useful Post:
it's a glorified invitational basically. Just another unnecessary tournament nobody wants or needs to further clog up the calendar.
It's replacing the confederations cup as the world cup host country's tune up.
Europe will poo-poo it but it's a huge opportunity for the smaller teams. They may get to play a European club once in their lifetime.

I don't get (nor do I care really) how teams qualify?
What has PSG done to get in? RB Salzburg? Why isn't Cavalry FC in it?
It is the Continental Champions of the last 4 years (UEFA, CONMEBOL, CONCACAF, AFC, CAF), that's 20 teams. But you can't have just 20 teams!
So let's add 8 more europeans, 2 more south americans, 1 from New Zealand and one from the hosts USA to make 32!
One more rule, you cannot have more than 2 teams from the same country, unless they won all the Champions Leagues.
I know you care about Europe so here goes.
Chelsea: winners of CL 2021
Real Madrid: winners of CL 2022 and 2024
Manchester City: winners of CL 2023
Since there is a repeat winner, we take the next best 9 UEFA teams based on their 4-year UEFA club coefficient.
1. Bayern Munich
2. Paris Saint Germain
3. Borussia Dortmund
4. Inter Milan Liverpool
5. Porto
6. Athletico Madrid Leipzig
Barcelona
7. Benfica
8. Juventus Napoli
Seville
AC Milan
9. RB Salzberg
