Makes the team more entertaining to watch without increasing the chances of winning.

That will be one heck of a lop-sided 4L sizewise if Klapka is on the other wing.

Nothing absolutely nothing is worse than your team is both bad and BORING. Last year we had a few young guys to watch and ? Big guys who didn't use their size. Little guys who got knocked over by a player skating by them. Skilled players who made you wonder how they got the skilled label.
Entertain us while you rebuild. Give us characters who play on or over the edge. Give us young guys throughout the lineup. Give us a PP so at least we can see a few goals.
We can accept losing but not BOREDOM!

I think dumping Mangipane opened up a spot for Coronato.
This is a the Greer replacement. I can’t see him blocking anyone.
I was more worried about Debrusk. He would have taken a roster spot and even if he got outplayed by a young player they aren’t moving someone they just signed.m, well unless you’re Vegas.

An obvious overpayment for a good guy. He'll bring what Duehr was supposed to last year. Great energy player that became a Stanley Cup Champion through hard work.
Glad to see him back, that he got paid, and that it was a short term deal.
Is he an upgrade over Greer/Hunt/Duehr? Probably. I think Lomberg and Pelletier are going to bring the team a ton of energy as the 4th line wingers.

If they can't beat out Ryan Lomberg for a spot, then the kids are not, in fact, alright.

Yup. We might struggle to hit the floor.
I'm cool with it though. I like Lomberg.

We can’t just become complete garbage. It’s weird how people can’t understand the ultra rich. Like they just want to bleed money for a few years when there are other options to complete tanking. Edward’s wants cash flow when it’s at all possible.
I want 17 first round draft picks!!! These guys have pride and have massive ego.

Liked his interview on the fan, he admitted he's kept tabs on the Flames since leaving, and likes Pospisil's pest game and is excited to play with him. We Gilbertson posed a question to him like "can you mentor him to not get in trouble all the time" and he responded how Huska and mgmt have responded which is that you don't really want to reign him in and want him to keep that edge.

Yeah, not a big deal at all. Maybe an over payment, but at least there is no potential for it to become an anchor or issue for the team. I think the Flames are also paying for some intangibles here, so maybe not really an over payment at all.

I’d take Hunt over Pelletier. In fact I’d take Greer too.

I can take losing if blood is coming out of their eyeballs trying to win and the other team hates playing us.

Love this signing. Would love to see Lomberg, Posposil and Klapka on the same roster… would make for a very annoyed opposition. Mantha also tends to play mean when he is engaged.

On the same line.
I’m envisioning it now vs the Oilers. I have a big smile on my face.
