I'll never hate him, but watching his success with another club is bittersweet. Maybe he was going anyway, maybe the once in hundreds of years event ensured he wasn't staying in Calgary... it still hurts.

Love Tkachuk but I hate Treliving for screwing it all up just to sign or not move other bums he was constantly bringing in on brutal contracts. Most overrated GM in the league of the last 10 years.

What's the likelihood he extended if Gaudreau did?
In the end, it may have been for the best. FLA wouldn't have been that back to back finals team that was the perfect kryptonite to Edmonton's cinderella run if Tkachuk didn't land there.
