Flames are all class, but it's too much for Sportsnet if it isn't an Oiler's legend ceremony.

That was awesome. So good, glad I found the stream for Kippers speech. Atta be Dome crowd, good job flames.

Seeing Miikka show emotion had my wife and I both tear up!

That was absolute perfection.

Chills and tears the entire time. Noodles' speech was awesome! All the attention remained 100% on Kipper despite all the legends in the house.

Incredibly well done by the Flames organization.

Cool that he and Reggie are going to be on after-hours. But I bet he wishes nothing more than being able to crush some beers and relax after the ceremony.

The Dome's gonna be pouring plenty of beers tonight. The place'll be buzzing for puck drop. Good to see it filled right up for most of the event.

They are more than welcome to crush beers before after hours!

I was 18, and working at the dome at the time.

The stars could not have aligned any better for me. Surreal two months

What a great goalie. Was a STH for every year he was a Flame, probably saw him play over 300 times live. An absolute legend.

I was 10 in 04 and will never forget being in the dome for the Shark's elimination Game 6. A core memory I'll always cherish for the rest of my life. Was tough not to tear up during the ceremony. These player's impacted so many of our lives, this is what it's all about.

I want this generation of young hockey fan to experience their own 2004 run. Feel the insanity of it all revitalize a nearly dead hockey market and literally fuel the next 20 years of hockey in Calgary.

I hope they get to.

Was just saying this to my partner. I was in grade 11 in 2004, used my brother's credit card to buy single tickets in the ticket lotto just to get to a few games and was lucky to watch the Detroit ot win in person.

Didn't realize how rare it would be.
