I agree with them being a mediocre bubble team, but based on the front office 'pulling back' from signing the UFAs, I was hoping they were going change their ways and not battle for 9th in the west.

They need to rebuild their blue line. I’ve heard Florida and Noah since the draft last year. This one would not surprise me. I haven’t heard anything recently but wouldn’t be shocked one bit.

Ah, that’s not on the players though. The players who are here need to battle it out until the very end - and the quality of those players will see the team end up in that 8/9/10 spot in the West if left as is.

Once they subtract 2-3 pending UFAs, you may see them fall a bit more…but that’s entirely on management. Hopefully management does have their sights set on the long term and not the short term. Hopefully that’s the change we see from Conroy and crew.
