cross check to the face, cross check when hurt player was down
2 mins lol
ref had no intention of giving any more until the scuffle
Yeah, I wasn't happy about it. He got mad because Zary bumped into Ingram, I guess, except Kesselring forgot that he was the one the pushed him into Ingram in the first place.
I don't mind D clearing the crease and protecting the goalie, but that wasn't it, especially the 2nd crosscheck.
On the game against the Oilers, I'll be removing anything and everything throwable on my coffee table when watching that game to prevent me destroying my TV. I'm sure whoever reffing that game will be giving the Oilers all the PPs.
I got rid of my coffee table in spring of '04.

That was one of the better Flames/Coyotes game I've ever seen. Depressing start and the only reason I kept watching at that point was because my buddy was sitting right behind the bench and they panned over to him a few times. Happy the team seemed to turn it on when down by 2. Just where we want 'em, right? Glad I stayed tuned.
Some solid performances all night by Coleman, the D and Sharongoalbitch on the winner. Vladar solid, especially on the breakaways. Highlight of the night was Keller's move on the 2nd goal. Damn, that was sick. Kid has a nice set of hands and would look great in a Flames' jersey. Was going to make a post about Huberdeau being invisible, but just saw he was sick this game, so shame on me.
Flames in the mucky middle again, but ah well what can you do. At this point I hope the team still sells, makes the dance and wins it all. Pretty much the best case scenario.

Quite honestly, of his last 5, they’ve all been pretty good, except Chicago which was 2 deflections off his own guys, and one really weird bounce on which Chicago capitalized.
He’s a good goalie

Sharky looks like Alex Kovalev on the ice. Seems to give more ####s and maybe hands aren't quite as silky but playstyle and skating stride look very similar to me. He was absolutely a good pick up, well done front office.
we didn't need 10 posts to learn what games in hand are, we all know
it was a big win, fans are having fun...this is supposed to be fun
I half said it because I know the usual suspects would come flying in, now I just need an Oiler fan on the hook
2 points up Oiler, "cup contenders"
No one in their right mind thinks the oilers are cup contenders. I think we can all agree on that. Likewise, no one should think we are cup contenders today. But nice play of late and from guys that we are no doubt keeping mostly. I think the team can keep winning the way it is while still trading some high impact players like lindy, Marky, and hanifin.

Posters who were dead wrong on Vladar and predicting Wolf was the answer….
Unwilling to admit the right goalie started tonight.

All of the comments seem to be coming from one poster, throughout the game and post game threads. Sometimes people are more interested in trying to win an imaginary argument than enjoying a fun win.
Yeah fans would like to see Wolf, reigning AHL MVP and two time goalie of the year. Shocker.
But Vladar had a solid game. Great for him and the team.
I just don't understand any Flames fan that doesn't want to see Vladar play, and play well.
The Flames currently have 3 goalies. They need to move one, and they HAVE to do it before next season starts. And Vladar is FAR more likely to be moved than Markstrom is. So he HAS to play. And it is huge for the Flames if he plays well, because we'll be able to move him for an asset at the deadline (or he'll be key to the team on the off chance that Markstrom gets moved).
Last night makes it 5 good games in a row for Vladar - he is playing like a solid backup, and that is great news for the Flames. Embrace it. Embrace the plan. IT's coming together nicely!

Yeah he's had some terrible luck of late.
Even last night ... one off Hanifin, one off a player's skate.

I can't understand actively cheering against any player on the roster. It just doesn't make sense if you're a fan of the team.
Yet we see it all the time.
