Sooo…no change from last year really. 2026 can’t come fast enough.
I noted a lack of Horner. They had shots of some team principals/principles at the start and he wasn’t in it. I may have missed it but I didn’t see any pit shots of him too…though I wasn’t fully engaged on the race.

If everyone just agreed that max doesn’t exist, this could be fun. Everyone. Fans, tv, timing screens. Let’s just all collectively pretend like he doesn’t exist. Like that episode of South Park where they pretend they can’t see cartman. We do that, and we’re in for an all timer of a season. Ok maybe not an all timer, the entire top 10 was basically 2 by 2 with the top 5 teams. But it’d be more fun than this.

He was at the fence at the end celebrations, with ginger spice alongside.

Bit of a snoozer all the way through the field. Some nice driving by Sainz. I’d love to see him drive like that all season long. Maybe he’ll wind up at RedBull next year?
Anyone see Yuki’s antics on Ricciardo during the cool down lap? That’ll be quite the team debrief.

I think the drama of who gets the second Red Bull seat next season is probably going to be the most exciting part of this season.

Agreed, Sainz was on a mission for a job today. Good effort by him.
And lol at Yuki, what a clown... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWVn_pSTXFU

Alpine technical director Matt Harman and head of aero Dirk de Beer are understood to have resigned, sources have confirmed to The Race. The team has declined to comment.

I think Saintz will definitely find a seat for 2025, but the big question is will it be one of the open top tier seats (Perez/Hamilton seats) or somewhere further back.

Mercedes punts Russell, brings on Sainz and Alonso.
Russell goes to Aston Martin.

Christian Horner’s leadership has been cast into fresh doubt after Max Verstappen’s father, Jos, claimed Red Bull is “in danger of being torn apart” if the under-fire team principal remains in his role.
A defiant Horner said on Saturday night that he is “absolutely confident” he will stay on as Red Bull boss for the remainder of the Formula One season after overseeing Verstappen lead a one-two finish from teammate Sergio Pérez at the opening round in Bahrain.
Horner’s job has faced intense scrutiny in recent weeks following allegations against him made by a female colleague. Horner has always denied the claims.
But speaking to the Daily Mail, Verstappen Sr added further fuel to the fire when he said: “There is tension here while [Horner] remains in position. The team is in danger of being torn apart. It can’t go on the way it is. It will explode. He is playing the victim, when he is the one causing the problems.”
Verstappen Sr has been accused in some quarters of attempting to oust Horner from his job. But the 51-year-old father of Red Bull’s three-time world champion continued: “That wouldn’t make sense. Why would I do that when Max is doing so well here?”

Wonder how this is going to play out. It appears Jos is a pawn in some sort of power struggle in RB.
He has do role in RB except driver's Dad so can Horner give him a warning or have him banned from the paddock? Bit extreme yes but can you have a parent undermining management.
Will be interesting to hear Max's response to this. Horner's response and RB's but guessing they'll be generic. But, as things stand this is an issue that needs to to be dealt with.
Besides, you'd think Jos would be one of the last people to comment on others misconduct towards females.
No doubt his comments are are orchestrated.

Jos isn't a pawn, he's an agitator. And he's happy to find a way to get his name in the press again.
