Well said. Carrying the puck into the offensive zone is the problem. To me the team is more mobile in offence when they are killing a penalty. Once 5 on 5 everyone is stationery except Zary.

So you think Lindholm is a 50 point C? You think Dillon Dube is not even an NHL calibre forward? You think Mangiapane is a 15 goal scorer? Ya, ok.

Your relentlessness on this point is astounding, but at least try to be accurate.

Flames' GA/G: 3.23
Oilers' GA/P: 3.42

Markstrom: 2.74
Vladar......: 3.40
Wolf.........: 3.46
Skinner....: 3.04

Markstrom isn't the problem.

Pretty much every hockey expert predicted the Flames to be at least a WC team this year looking at their talent, I think I will take their read on the roster with a little more weight than yours.
100+ games is what I’m basing my read on. I’m not proclaiming to be out experting the experts.

I bet if you checked with the experts now, the opinion would be closer to mine than their original.

Ruzicka isn’t a good player and has been inconsistent his whole career. I think this is what he is.

Mangiapane likewise very inconsistent. I think if you think he is the 35 goal guy he was in his heater year you will always be disappointed.

Dube is disappointing but not sure that is a coaching/system issue and more of a pkayer issue.

Dube took a big step last year. He has dissappeared this year.

I think Mangiapane is a 25 goal guy

I agree on Ruzicka. Honestly not sure why he is up with the team. Betting he won’t be when Pelletier is back

Apologies; I divided by the wrong column when I was calculating it.

Will expand on the Markstrom point later.

I think that Mangipane is a streaky guy so not even halfway through the year I think it isn't surprising he is not doing well.

Lindholm is a 60 point guy without Johnny and Monahan/Tkachuk so not far off what he should be expected to get.

Dube is a 3rd liner who can dip down to his 4th liner level especially with the outside factors in his off ice life.

I noticed Magiapane either fumbles the puck or he get angled into the board easily. He just does not show the speedy entry which he head a season ago. What happened to his hockey ability is a mystery.

Dube, it is hard to watch. He is just doing nothing.

Check your math. It’s 3.43 for Edmonton and 3.23 for Calgary.

Again, I apologize. I was using the wrong column to divide it.

You can see GA/GP on NHL.com/stats and choose teams.

Without quality linemates, Lindholm is a 50-60 point centre.

Dube is an undersized bottom six NHL forward who has no defining characteristics. He’s not fast like Byron, he’s not a tank like Gerbe, he doesn’t have magic hands or elite hockey sense.

As for 88 - you could spend four hours at the Oval and not see someone fall over untouched as often as Mangiapane.

Dube is fast, he doesn't seem to use it properly though

I haven’t seen him beat anyone to the outside this year, unlike previous years.

Kylington is fast. Dube is a decent skater. If Mangiapane could skate like Dube, he’d be the player everyone wishes he was.

Whatever speed Dube possesses does not cause the opposition any difficulty, and at a certain point, not using it correctly is the same as not having it at all.

He uses it like twice a game. Otherwise is nowhere to be seen.

His motor could stand to burn a bit more oil over 60 minutes.
