Which is good for the rebuild/retool. Punt on this season while they have 4 really good rental pieces and have a bunch of picks, cap space, and a high pick next summer. This thing can be well on the right track by the time the new rink opens if a few realistic things go their way

Was the ice time comment directed at the Leafs or Flames? It was in response to a "Can we keep him?" tweet from a presumed Leaf fan (location of Toronto in his Twitter bio).

It seems like he's saying any team who trades for him better give him ice time if they want to keep him beyond this season.

Or he may have mistaken a joke question from a Leaf fan for a legitimate question from a Flames fan.

That's fair. I have never said what I hear is a sure thing and Rasta is definitely the best inside source on here. People need to separate the player and person. He's not that great and the big hits are infrequent. He also gets his face smashed in fights.

Lucic didn't make us any bigger and Zadorov doesn't either.

If someone is willing to pony up for him, you immediately trade him.

I would treat this with urgency and not wait it out too long.

Zadorov is a perfect player to trade. A contender would love to add him. Hes a good player on his current contract but hes definitely going to get overpaid next year. Take the assets and run.

I know they lack NHL experience but Desimone is almost 29 and Gilbert is 27 these are not youngsters.
