There's no terrible teams in that division? Our 4th place team had more points than their 3rd place team.

Pom Pom waiver for saying the division isn't bad
Division that just won the cup in a joke of a series against the East champ that factually had less points than the Flames

Well they obviously don't want to sign since everyone is requesting a trade? Or is Conroy low balling all of them? Doesn't seem plausible.
You were saying Tkachuk would've gotten 10.5 in Florida if the taxes were the same as in Calgary and just saying that's not the case according to Noodles. You can find it here:

starts around 20min mark.
Since he played in both markets I would assume he is correct about the tax situation.

Well, Lindholm and Backlund have both stated during the garbage bag day media availability that they were unsure about re-signing because they want to win. Hanifin seemed fine to extend, but apparently he wants to wait until next season when the cap goes up, as he feels he would end up leaving money on the table, but that's a non-starter with Conroy.
Toffoli I don't know - but it is probably a little bit from column A, and a little bit from column B. I am sure eventually more things will get leaked. For now, it seems to be purely a mix of question marks about the Flames competing, and players wanting to cash-in next season.

Nothing has changed in the last 20 years?
Calgary has to pay more, it's not a debate

Nobody has requested a trade...they are not willing to sign extensions allegedly
Like I said I bet it's a team leak to push the issue
You are either in or out...No Gaudreau maybe's

There's always a lull after the big ones like this.
26 seems to be the one to look at.
But there are a couple of Iginlas coming soon....

How much and how long do you extend Tanev for? Does he want to return? If so, for how much? It may not really be in the Flames' hands any longer with what has been going on, or it simply may not make sense.
I prefer to trade him. I 100% agree that he is a great role model, very steady on the ice, and also provides great leadership. He is, however, going to turn 34 in December, and his ability to stay healthy seems to once again be a question mark. If he was younger and without injury issues, I would want the Flames to re-sign him as well. I just don't think it would be smarter to trade him at this point, and find a few solid vets to fill the gap for now.
It will be interesting to see what happens with him, but I would be surprised if he stayed (and Zadorov at this point too, though I see Zadorov staying until the deadline).

Even keep him till the deadline. Help break the new guys in and still get a return. I agree he is battered and you don't back up the truck for him, but if he'd sign on for another season or two I'd love to see it. Could be wrong but feels like the flames are about to be a team with loads of cap room too

Sutter wasn’t 100% the problem. But he definitely wasn’t the solution
