They obviously can beat the Canucks in this game. But they’ve not played very well in a crucial game. Bad passing, bad 4 minute powerplay and a lot of lazy puck challenges.

Lots of time left, but I don't like our chances if the boys don't start playing with a like more urgency.

I get that Peltier made a mistake on the 8th Kings goal in the blowout loss, but surely he has more to give. Even if you don't want to put him in, at least move Duer up a line, and drop Ritchie back.
I was expecting him to be better than his brother, but I really don't see much of a difference. They're both just.......there. Not difference makers.

I would say Pelletier should have played instead of Ritchie. He might be the most nothing player I have seen, makes no difference if he plays or not

The team needs to band together to avenge Backlund. Can't let this one hang over him.

Still a winnable game. It would be all tied up Sans that brain fart by Backlund.

Hopefully the Flames realize in the intermission the Jets won and they have to keep pace. This game terrified me as the Canucks are playing really well lately and knowing the Flames, the chances of a three game win streak are slim to none.

I'm so glad all Flame players wore the pride jerseys. It's 2023 and this is still controversial? Crazy.

Watching the Vancouver intermission show for context.

I think of watching a 6-9 million dollar player like MT or JG.
Then I think I'll be watching a 10.5 million dollar player for 8 more years like Huby.
It hurts my soul. I pray he turns it around next year and releases this anguish.

Might be a good idea for the flames to show the F up this period.

Honestly, I thought Brett was okay. He played heavy, he could grind in the corners, he brought some toughness, and he had okay wheels. Nick has shown almost nothing.
He's been a downgrade, and yet he's getting consistent 3rd line minutes.
I think Brett probably would have been more effective in that same spot.

If the Flames view Pelletier as an NHLer, then why isn’t he playing?

Send him down if you’re gonna just play vets over him.

Team is so strange. Definitely the “better” team that period but find a way to be down. PP killed all momentum. Worried they won’t get that urgency to their game. Where is that second gear.

Eh, they played well. Canucks checked better than I thought they would.

What I really hate on the PP was Andersson's bump back, he slow to a stop and then bump back. What's the point? I really, really hate that!

You can make that complaint if he repeats this performance next season. He’s not currently a 10.5M player.
