That goal aside the Flames have really ramped it up. Now playing faster than Dallas can check and generating space and chances.

Never would have I thought a year ago Tkachuk would be a viable option to leave unprotect at the expansion draft. Sad times to be a fan that so many of our players with high potential are just not making it

Matthew is nowhere near the 200 foot player that Stone is. But the Flames could possibly get the Stone package of a former mid 1st rounder and a 2nd round pick for Tkachuk.

a deal for a Tarasenko is for Tkachuk +, not the other way around.
