Terrible +/-, despite 50 points. Some of it is Jones taking O chances, a lot of it is terrible D-Partners/goaltending/backchecking.
I have said before, that I hate when D-Men are evaluated by offense, but, that is what has gotten paid for.
Another stupid move by an overrated GM, Stan Bowman.
My expectation, is that at some point, he will get offloaded at a trade deadline, with us eating half salary, by a GM who loves his offense.

He's playing a position he hasn't really played very much in the NHL. Even then, he's doing well in the faceoff dot. For Flames players who have taken at least 100 face offs this season, he has the best winning percentage at 60.2%.

Yes but with Dube finding his way as of late, maybe it's time to give him an opportunity with Mang and Toffoli. That Backlund line seems to have gone cold lately.

He is brand new in the gig...hasn't established an on-air personality yet. After 40 years of Pat Foley, and 20 of Lloyd Petit before him, it is odd for this 'Hawk fans with a new PBP voice, too.

Maclean’s teeth don’t need to be that close to the camera. It appears CBC has no dental plan.

@FireGilbert...Toews has been THE "Johnny" to Chicago fans since 2007

Just keep the sponsorship logos off jerseys.
Put ‘em on all the equipment you want but keep them off the jerseys.
I will be livid when/if they end up on jerseys.

Lankinen really lacks discipline in maintaining position in his crease. He way overplayed that 1st tip in.

But why?
If it makes HRR go up that's good for the players.
Seems like an odd thing to get your panties in a twist about.

I’m currently watching the Flames winning and the Raptors losing on the same screen. Fun
