Missed the game. Pleased with the score. I guess I should fall asleep and miss games more often

I missed the game as I had to drive a friend to the hospital.

But Johnny comes out clutch yet again. Markstrom with the shutout again. Solid 2 points!

A win is a win is a win (despite the game being so boring I didn't watch the third)

Way to go, Flames!

I’m not sure what you’re referring to here.
There are a lot of funds still within the Foundation’s accounts, but much is allocated to future endeavours, and set aside so immediate contributions can be made, such as $3.5MM to immediate COVID relief programs.
This comment suggests 70% goes elsewhere, as opposed to charitable endeavours, which is simply wrong.

Let’s not ruin this thread with this discussion though.
Anyone can feel free to PM me should he or she want to discuss.

I was surprised that he unsuccessfully used the phrase at least three times and failed to even consider it on the GWG

He is so painful to listen to

Bieksa was great on the post game panel calling out the lacklustre game and the failed toe drag through three guys, while Kelly and Cassie were trying way too hard to show they were unbiased towards the Flames and calling for a penalty.

Horvat tried a bad toe drag 1 on 3, just dropped his stick, and dogged it back to the bench. Weak
Actually it was Miller.

I liked how Ritchie went straight for Myers after that awful hit. Didn't matter one bit it was a 4th liner taking the hit versus a star, the Flames had someone willing to hold the Canucks accountable. So many flames teams of the past few years would have just watched the hit happen and done nothing. Shows this is an actual team playing for each other this year. Looked like Myers was in a bit of pain in the box too before he got tossed.

It’s actually be updated in the latest report from Charity Intelligence they now donate 63% of every dollar raised

https://www.charityintelligence.ca/c...mes-foundation

It’s a vast improvement from when the report came out in 2018

What on earth. I can't even comprehend how they can be getting homer vibes from Cassie's commentary? She tries so hard to give love to the other team, tonight it was so bad that she was even playing defense lawyer for Myers after a blatant hit to the head.

Almost like she cannot please anyone. I had the same impression as you but reading the Canuck and Oiler comments makes me reconsider. Perhaps years of oiler and Canuck centred broadcasts have made me sensitive or, more likely, oiler and Canuck fans are not that smart.

As long as the Oilers aren't involved, I don't see much homerism/anti-homerism either way.

I did think it was a little funny that Cassie concluded that the interference on Tkachuk wouldn't get a call so late in the 3rd of a tie game but couldn't apply that same logic to the Miller play.

It's a little funny that Lewis did the McDavid move of flailing an arm back to initiate contact. How many games would this hit warrant if it was #97 receiving it instead?

Myers height discrepancy is probably the deciding factor, rightly or wrongly.
