Have we ever had a backup goalie this good? It’s a noodle scratcher for me. I don’t think we have.
Vladar is like your second best friend. He may not be your BEST friend, but he’s pretty awesome and always has your back. All previous backups have been like the slightly strange guy at work who thinks he’s friends with you and you’re like meh, stop picking your nose, shower once in a while and try not to be such an awkward dork.

Well, winning is always fun, no matter how you do it.
Good game overall but I have to mute my TV when Cassie is on the show. She gets something in her mind and talks about it all the time during the game, "Anderson and Hanafin need to provide some scoring" every time they are on the ice. Just annoys the crap out of me, lol
90% of what she says boils my blood, but I especially wanted to throw something at her through the TV after her take on Gaudreau's shootout goal
"That's a new look from Johnny Gaudreau. Usually he tries to fake a shot and then go backhand. The Flames didn't have success five-hole during the game so I think he decided to change it up".
Gaudreau LITERALLY scored the exact same goal in the shootout against Pittsburgh just two games ago. Don't think he changed it up at all, Cassie...

Biggest difference to me is team doesn't get demoralized and start playing dumb hockey when thing go wrong.
Agreed. Us fans got very good at identifying the moment they decided to fold in the past season and a bit. Don't see it this year. They just keep chugging along. As a player seeing that system work must feel rewarding when the wins keep rolling in.
Calgary outplayed us pretty handily last time. This will be another tough one. Doesn't help that it's the 3rd game in 4 nights either but hopefully they have their legs still.
