That's not what McTavish said. In a sudden moment of clarity, he said that the forwards have to win battles in the defensive end. The Oilers on air crew doesn't even listen to their own broadcast.

Oilers getting their asses handed to them all game...now leading 3-2. God I hate hockey sometimes.

Haha yep. There it is. Just the way it is going for the Oilers this season.

At least there are a ton of teams playing actual great hockey who the Oilers will pose no threat to as the season wears on. It's just annoying as hell in the meantime.

It's funny how they break down & critique every single call made and compare it with other calls/non calls. Whereas every other broadcast team just deals.
