THATS why we have Ritchie BTW. He plays a sound game and we have him, Lucic and Gudbranson to keep the other guys honest.

What icetime and a quality partner can do!
So nice to have a top coach for the first time in a long time.

I also feel it's inevitable that Kylingtons starts running PP1 in lieu of Andersson.

Every game so far the Flames have played hard. It’s been a really enjoyable season so far. Just loving the effort and what Sutter has done.

Kyllington could be what’s we’ve been missing in OT since Brodie

Lets just hope the upcoming 2nd period is better than what we've seen previously.

Gudbranson has been quite steady, which annoys me as it goes against my narrative that he sucks.

Really strong first period there. Great hockey.

Felt really apathetic coming into this season. Didn’t care about the preseason. Didn’t feel interested much in watching after the two losses to open up.
But watching this road trip. They look inspired. And they look well coached.
Has definitely piqued my interest.

Part of it is that some posters don't post when they look this good.

IMO if the fellas can maintain this pace and play, we will become what the announcers are already calling us, a D Sutter team. That's an identity, I would venture it's also a compliment as it says we are a tough, relentless, hard to play against team.

Just got home to turn on the dreaded second period.
Sounds like it was a good first.

I always picture certain posters’ hands hovering over their keyboards waiting for a whipping boy to make a bad pass or not “bury that”.
