I suspect Darryl Sutter has very little use for a flashy Russian winger who doesn’t play well without the puck, but I would enjoy being wrong.
Russia produces too much talent for the Flames to have ignored it the way they have for 20 years.

I'm definitely pulling for Raty here. I know he didn't produce but from what I've read and watched he's been working on the mental side of the game (not making smart plays which he does, but the handling of adversity and internal pressure) and when he's on, he's can be absolutely dominant. Risky for sure but no other player at this point has 1st OV talent, if he can put it all together.

man the timeouts shouldn't be more than a minute or two, this is painful to watch. 10 minute timeout for a 2nd rounder is overkill

I feel like that added a minute as well per pick, didn’t it used to be 2 mins per pick rounds 2-7?? Maybe all the uncertainty due to covid?
