I am due to renew my cable and internet package and the "offer" is quite a bit more than I paid over the past 4-6 years. I am in the $120 range now and the closest package I am being offered is $185. Think I will just ditch the tv portion as I only use it sporadically.

Don’t do it! Every time someone drops tv they need increase internet cost to compensate.

I also love that it is $90/mth in Ontario but $115 in BC. No that is some bull####. And no mobile and home bundles offered. Even more bull####. That is internet only prices.
It took some procrastinating but we just signed up for Lightspeed. Same speed and backbone as Shaw but for 60% cheaper. We're not super heavy users so even if it goes down occasionally the cost savings will be worth it.
