Tkachuk was told by secret inside sources that TML Toronto Hockey Team was no good.

If this is the "best" game the team can muster together under ward, that is far from encouraging.
It was a fun win, but we don't need to push some false narrative that just because the players executed, that ward's systems suddenly are good.

Which NHL team are you working for, i am sure with your in depth viewing someone must have hired you by now.

I thanked this not as a shot at GranteedEv, but because it made me laugh, and its true that we all get a little caught up in thinking we have all the answers sometimes.
Sometimes it's as simple as working hard, playing smart and getting some breaks. That's what a happened tonight IMO.

Just enjoy the win, you haven't been here for a week, no need to get arrogant.

That's how you would describe it.
Posters have been calling for heads to roll. This is a nice change.
Enjoy!

I thought the coaching was truly exceptional... Edwards and Gelinas really meshed well as a pairing. But the real star of the show was Jordan Sigalet!

I agree.
I'm really starting to wonder if advanced stats mean sfa.
Let's just count goals for and against and be happy when we come out ahead.
It's ridiculous that we can win a game with a shutout no less and people still want to cut the team to shreds.

And let's not forget the superb assistant general managing by Craig Conroy! Ask him... he'll tell you!

Wasn't sold on the signing when I first heard it, but man I am now. He's been a great addition.

Coach Ward on injuries:
Yesterday, Markstrom thought he might be able to today, but this morning said he couldn't go.
On Monahan: He had been playing through something, coaching staff thought to give him some maintenance days. If it had been playoffs, he would have played those games.

I'm happy with that.
Rittich shutout. Bennett goal. Tkachuk 100th. Monahan back, and scores
Don't care about what else is happening with the team, I'll care about that tomorrow. Right now, I'm happy as hell

How many people hated on the Tanev signing?
Most.
Since Markstrom had a couple tough nights (hopefully tweak related cause it seemed unusual), Tanev has been the most consistent of the acquisitions.
Hope they replicate this game just without the odd man breaks against on the PP.
