No interest in Dadonov for me either.

He's spent 75% of his minutes in Florida playing with Barkov over the past 3 years. In the 25% of time he's played away from Barkov his numbers take a serious hit. Also, a 31 year old that will likely end up with a contract that will not age well.

Dadonov concerns me of following a similar trajectory as a Neal or Lucic or a Brouwer. Honestly Hoffman as well.

I wonder if the Flames would have any interest in Granlund though.

Kind of wonder what will happen with Hamonic.

No idea what the season will look like but no matter what they do, it probably won't be assafe for the players as the bubble was. Will he sit out the start of the season, or maybe the entire season and will that impact his desirability? Or maybe he's telling people he's good to go now.

Assuming he is a full participant, curious as to what he fetches.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hamonic sits out until at least when there's a vaccine widely available.

I've liked Dadonov for a long time, but I just don't see where he fits in the lineup. Best use is probably in eat bread's slot, which I don't think is a good move for the top 6.

Maybe. And you won't necessarily know right away just how effective the vaccine will be so as a layman, I imagine this could mean sitting out the season.

I myself am not so high on Hoffman, but I am not sure he is one to avoid either (depending on the price). His goal scoring tell me that the Flames should pursue him, but his analytics tell me that is completely useless except at scoring goals.



I will go by what Cali has to say about him and 100% formulate my opinion from him

Hoffman’s production was about the same in Ottawa and Fla. His +/- was ok in Ottawa until his last year (I don’t know about fancier defensive stats).

I do know I’d like some better speed on this team and he has it. So does Hall of course, and a couple other guys out there.

I don't believe it. I think he knows where he wants to play and that is with the Jets. If he is in the bubble he has zero chance of infecting his daughter, actually higher chance being at home if he goes out and does stuff like groceries. I still think he quit on us and after signing with the Jets will play next year.

The playoffs were in the bubble and he still opted to not play. I think he also sits out if there is no vaccine available.

I'm confused. Dadonov is a RW. Mangiapani is LW. I know Dadonov is 31. He might be available for short term at a decent salary.

Mangiapane is a LHS who played RW with Tkachuk and Backlund.

Why would they? LW is saturated. There’s no room in the top lines, and 4th is too low. So you’d have to switch Looch.

There won't be a bubble when play resumes. Players will be living their normal lives and traveling to different cities to play. They'll also be in close contact with other players who may not be as careful as you'd like.

Bettman's last comments that I read said they could start in a bubble, move to limited capacity and then to something close to normal. I don't believe the bubble is totally ruled out to start.

I'd totally love if we took shot at a cheap one deal with Athanasiou.

Still young, played with Mangiapane in Barrie, lots of speed, and capable of scoring.
