What an absolute stinker of a game scheduled for tonight. Cinci vs. Cleveland.
I get that not every primetime game should be with the same 5 "national" teams, but Goodell knew this was going to be rubbish when the schedule was made. Not doing yourself any favors for viewership numbers for sure, which is only going to compound the storyline from last week re: depressed numbers
Not the greatest matchup but watching two of the last three Heisman winners face off will be the storyline.
I'm actually kind of looking forward to it? Browns got spanked last week, but I think that should have been expected going up against one of the best teams in the league and not having a proper offseason to adjust to the new coaching staff.
It's also week 2, we still have no idea what these teams will be by seasons end. The biggest thing driving the smellyness of this matchup is the history of the teams involved.

I need comedy in my life. The Browns provide said comedy.

Baker’s quickly turning into a less likeable Jay Cutler. Did the Browns ruin a prospect or was he never that great? I totally thoguht he’d be fantastic coming out of school.

Legit lol'd at this. How is this even possible, yet also quite accurate?

I think his early success went to his head and NFL defensive coordinators are pretty good at attacking weaknesses after enough tape has been accumulated. I also think he's been coached by two of the all-time worst NFL head coaches in Kitchens and Jackson. He's got a bit of a hill to climb but I wouldn't jump to conclusions after seeing him for only one game in this new offense especially given the offseason.
I don’t need to see the fans watching from home so much.
Yes. But the fans in the stands and noise are a huge plus from a viewing perspective. It surprises me how much this seems to improve the enjoyment factor for me watching at home.
Even the players seem way more engaged IMHO
