This continues to be very chippy. I have come to expect for the past several years that this this is how Minnesota plays, and precisely why I wouldn't want any part of them.

Minnie has been the better team in this game IMO.

Suck it Hartman, your dirty crap led to Vancouver getting a goal on the power play.

Well if Hartman is dirty I don't know what you call Sutter, he just attempted to murder Fiala for a light bump on Markstrom.

He somehow avoided a penalty on that play too. Reffing has been weird in this series.

Vancouver getting into the playoffs is win win for Calgary. They are a team the Flames have had a number on for a while and they take the spot of a better team.

Minny hasn't scored a 5 on 5 goal this series.

Trying to avoid this thread like the plague, but I did want to pop in and say "Wow is Ryan Hartman a piece of ####".

Wow is Ryan Hartman a piece of ####.

And they don't win the draft lottery that is a dark cloud around this whole thing

Edit - Not eve the worst on. His attempted jumping check into Beagle's head (that still slightly connected) that ended up hurting his teammate was even worse.

Pretty dangerous for sure. But not sure what Peterson is doing with that move though. The hit would have been on his shoulder before he turned and bent over like that.

EDIT: looks like his foot is pulled by Koivu which puts him in the vulnerable spot. Man that dude takes some rough shots.

The issue is, Hartman had time to ease up. It's not like Pettersson did a quick spin. He was turning to protect the puck. Petey bounced up, so in the end it looked worse than it was. It could have been a real bad hit though.

That was bad. And I agree - I think there was time to ease up. You just can't hit someone that is that vulnerable.

Nasty hit for sure. Suspension worthy IMO. Pettersson was in a very prone position, and the outcome could have been horrible.

He wasn't hurt so there will be no suspension, but there probably should be. I hate how they suspend based on injury. There should be one for Sutter too, I think. Just ran Fiala from behind.

Anyway, I'll make this prediction: whoever wins tomorrow takes the series... by which I mean, if MIN manages it they win in 5.

Being a Wild fan must be the worst. Every season zero hope of winning the cup or drafting high enough to select a badly needed elite talent. The organization simply exists to play out a ho-hum regular season and maybe a round of playoff hockey. Rinse and repeat for ever and ever.

Looks pretty similar to what Bennett did to Perreault

Not even close. Come on.

Pettersson was facing the boards with his head down and neck prone, and Hartman hit him directly in the numbers.

Perrault was turned sideways and Bennett hit him in the chest.

Hartman should be suspended, but as someone said, n injury so...

Also, disagree on Sutter - he tackled a guy, he didn't run him.
