Yeah. 2-3am seemed to be when it became clearly visible, but even then with the naked eye it was faint.

yea... i got up just after 3am. it took a while to find in the sky. it's not like you look up and say "WOW!!! check out that comet!!" i'm sure it would be better if i wasn't in town, but i got these... which are still pretty cool!

I think the brightness actually provided some terrific contrast. I love the photo.

Yes, taken 2 hours earlier. It was impossible for me to see at 5am due to brightness.
