Only caught the third, and only on 960, but good to hear another win

Keep rolling

I don't want to jinx anything but I'm starting to believe again.

The team should be harder to play against in the playoffs. It's more physical with Lucic. The younger guys have had more time to develop and the defence is deeper. Plus better goaltending.

Not sure if this is accurate but this post in the OOT is pretty crazy.

"343 games since the Coyotes scored a goal with 6 skaters on the ice. Yeah the beat goes on. "

Ooooof.

Ooooof.
343 games would roughly be 4 seasons without an empty net. Working to confirm, but I think this is just case of a broken Coyotes fan.

Coyotes with one shot in the last 10 minutes down by in a must win game. Team is finally finding the lockdown. I love what Forbort has brought to the 3rd pairing.

If we were in the coyotes situation with that 3rd period the site would be in full meltdown. Instead we are celebrating a controlled third. It's easy to forget that there are two teams in a league with this much parity.

Yeah, hopefully they don't mess with whats working by putting the corsi black hole back in the line up.

The team is definitely on an upswing recently. The return of Backlund and Johnny along with Mangiapanne as a new driver of play is making the team much easier to have confidence in again. If they can keep building like this as they head into the playoffs, I'll be optimistic about them making some noise.

I also must admit that while I absolutely loathed the Lucic trade when it happened, and I wasn't initially a fan of the trade deadline pickups, they all look to have improved the team and added missing elements that should help come playoff time.

This team still has a lot to prove, but they're looking like they have the tools to compete with this year.

Arizona Coyotes last goal with the goalie pulled and an extra attacker on the ice was Oct 24th 2019 vs the Islanders in a 4-2 loss.

I think that's 60 games with out a goal when 6 skaters are on the ice.

What about a game in which they scored with 6 skaters to actually win the game?

Who is the Corsi blackhole? I have a hard time believing it's Hamonic, but my gut says Hamonic.

I miss the Sherwood PMP 5030.

Heavier than my first car.

You'd crosscheck a guy in front of the net with one of those and he stayed crosschecked.

It looks like February 8, 2018 against Minnesota. They tied the game with the goalie pulled and won in OT (they have played 180 games since then).

On March 29, 2019, they tied the game late with the goalie pulled but lost in OT to Colorado (they have played 74 games since then).

----------

The last time the Flames scored with the goalie pulled to tie the game and won in OT was ... Wednesday.
