Maybe if the Flames play Rittich for 74 games a year like they did with Kipper it will be a good strategy this time and not the horrible strategy it was and always will be?

I would be willing to bet that every single other team has made bigger player-for-player trades than the Flames have during that timeframe.
The closest thing to a player-for-player trade the Flames have made was Jokipakka for Lazar.

Not totally blaming your goalie, D zone coverage has been non-existent, but, I would expect a goalie change after a stern lecture to the rest of the team for letting the guy down.

I just want players that are committed to winning, and do whatever it takes to do so. Skate hard each game, make the simple, efficient plays, and battle for every inch of the ice - aren't afraid of getting physical to make the play.
I'm so sick of this team getting exactly what they've deserved all this decade because they don't care, and battle hard enough night in, night out. The seasons they have, they gotten to the 2nd round.
I want players that have the heart and effort of the '04 & '15 Flames. Effort is more important than skill.

I’m still bullish on this team. I think they can finish top 3 in the Pacific. However, if things go south, I wonder if ownership will regret that extension they gave Treliving.
