Sadly, I agree with this. We’ll get screwed if we try to trade out of desperation.

We have a ton of expiring contracts we can move and not get any worse than it is now. Too bad kids, you asked to stay together and squandered it. Anything tree does now is on you.

Totally agree.
This was a "show me" year for this group.
It will define the direction the organization takes going forward.

I don't think you need to tear it down. You move out some of the core pieces, and build around Hanifin, BSD, Tkachuk and Lindholm

I think the Flames record masks just how bad they are playing.

Remember that last year they were putting up a good record while out scoring Smith’s league worst goaltending.

This year the goalies can be pretty much counted on to do everything you can ask.

The flames should learn from the mighty ducks 2 those guys found a way to take over 15 penalties in the game and not be shorthanded once and when they were down 4-1 they just changed jerseys they came out flying.... they came back to win it in a shootout in what can only be described as the craziest wwe match I have ever seen ....well I'm going to watch the sandlot now

Because misery loves company. Looks like Vegas fans don’t sound much different than us.

The Hockey Guy made an interesting point on one of his recent videos.

He pointed out that if your team is regularly scored on first, it's a sign of bad coaching. Interestingly, this seems to be the case for both Babcock and Peters.

What’s the basis for that though?
And who is the hockey guy?

We're going to go in circles again. It's not the coach, oh so it's the players fire the GM. The GM is doing a fine job back to square one.

Was at the game. The first time I noticed Lucic was when he threw hit along the boards.

The second time was when he drew a penalty. Ugh.

Thats not too bad actually. At least he hasn't been a liability. Upgrade on Neal!

Lucic created two of the Flames better chances on passes from behind the net

Just watching the game now.

Man, did Anderson feed Kuemper a few good shots in the brawl then Tkachuk came over the top and caught him.

Tkachuk also got a good shot on Soderberg too.

It was great seeing Johnny actually stand up for himself.

Mean sonahan also crunched goligoski. I like that this is finally starting to become part of his game.

Please allow me to vent for a moment. Does anyone use Game Centre? And if they do, is watching replays something you use it for? That is the PRIMARY use of it for me, but the way it is setup, the result is ALWAYS ruined. There is absolutely no way to get a stream started without spoilers. Even the ####ing time bar on the bottom spoils the result. You can turn off the scores, but every time you log in, it defaults to "on". It drives me absolutely nuts. Not that I mind having a result like this game spoiled, but JEEZ LOUISE, why can't EVERYTHING be defaulted "off" and then turn it on if you want to see it??? What other purpose is there of using this service if not to watch games that you've missed? I don't get it...........

/rant over

Thank you. I needed that.

I wonder if the brawl might be the catalyst for the Flames coming together and turning their season around.

It couldn't even help them turn this game around.
