Watching the Nashville feed, and their entire broadcast team (minus pbp) consists of beautiful women who know way more about hockey than I do, and Terry Crisp. Nashville knows entertainment.

I didn't want to admit it at the start of the year but it's starting to look like we may just be a bubble team. A lot different than I felt before last year's playoffs started.

Weren't a bunch of people worried, when Peters was hired, that he was the same style of coach as GG? The way we are playing, with slow breakouts, dump and chase and no urgency, it looks eerily familiar.
And as for Johnny playing scared, I couldn't agree more. Cross the blue line, button hook, dump puck off repeat.

I hope he’s injured the ways he’s playing. I’m just stating that he’s making plays looking likes he’s trying not to get hurt, rather than win a battle/get the puck

Definitely seems like a group that bought into their own hype and thought they could coast during the regular season. Getting outshot 15-4 is alarming, there’s something wrong with this core.

It's still too early to write this team off IMO. This roster scored 289 goals last year, and there's too much talent here to completely drop off a cliff. Seems to me like they're just in a rut, which even the best teams go through at least a couple of times during the year. I still have faith that the goals will come.
Defensively they've been fairly solid, and goaltending has been fine. We just need the offence to come alive.

Yup. Their combined 14 goals in 613 NHL games is exactly what we're lacking!

Seems A typical for the Flames. Can only have 2/3rds of the team operating at an acceptable rate. Give me back shoddy goaltending and scoring the lights out.

Eric ‘Turd Breath’ Francis is rejoicing about all of the Flames’ poor stats. He’s loving it, little puke that he is.

Not good enough for a team that is now years into its rebuild and set the bar as a conference leading team. I expect more.

Why can't we pass to guys in the slot and get good scoring chances?
