Bakers dozen rebound by Markstrom gifts Draisaitl a child's play goal and Kassian an easy ass assist.

Credit where it's due, that was a slick pass by Kassian.

Brandon Sutter is really bad.

Forgot about Randorf over the summer. Dread his Flames games like few others on Saturdays. His bias to his hometown Canucks and creepy infatuation with Boeser, or placating his partner and Oiler analyst Debrusk on Oiler games, and his over the top hyperbole and goal calls.

Edmonton looks like a team running on adrenaline. Vancouver looks like Edmonton on a normal night.

So what you're saying is this game will have perfectly balanced commentary?

I think he'll just overcompensate by being a total spaz whenever anyone does anything.

So far I'm spot on

What I hate about Randorf is that he brings a pre-set narrative with him to the game. Instead of simply talking about what is happening in the game, he tries to apply it to his own story that he wants to tell.

It comes across as forced, and usually biased.

Vancouver basically looks like they've never played together before. Maybe when you start the season with 6 new skaters, you should use the last couple of games of preseason to get your #### together. Just a thought?

"Best shift in the offensive zone for the Canucks"

They didn't even get a shot attempt off..
