Treliving said team was as healthy as you could possibly hope for.

I promise they were far healthier than the Avs.

If we could get some good value for Backlund I would be all for it but would have to faith that Lindholm would be just as good as Backs and get a good RW.

I think that's the direction the flames go in.

Move backlund in a deal with a pick or prospect for a better centre. Probably/maybe to Anaheim for Getzlaf.

Either Tre is talking up Backlund or he isn't gone. One of the best Flames in the playoffs.

Nate McKinnon is mean. He tells his coach to do his ****ing job! Zadorov, definitely mean. Landeskog is mean and nasty for sure. It's a fine line between being mean and tough to play against and being Evander Kane, but when people suggest that the Flames need more meanness, I think this is whag they are talking about.

He said "crack". So I take it as hairline fracture, and obviously no idea if it impacted him at all.

He's apparently considering the world championships so there's that.

My broken thumb took 3 months to heal and stop bothering me. Bent it backwards and the xray showed a crack. Had trouble with everything from opening a car door to operating a can opener.

So a cracked thumb...explains why his shot maybe lacked some zip, but certainly doesn't account for his lack of overall compete/physicality.

This injury certainly doesn't excuse him from his poor play.

How so? Sorry, I didn't see it, I saw a guy assigned to the other teams star player and getting absolutely owned. Not saying we should trade him but Backlund was not good at all this playoffs.

I don’t know if that’s the deal. But man getting a guy like Getzlaf could turn this team around. Say what you want about his most recent regular season but when people say we need a team that plays “bigger” this is exactly the kind of player they (I) mean. An absolute monster when he wants to turn it on.

Yeah, not sure, maybe I misheard but pretty sure he said series and not game 1.

I can't help but cringe when people post their 2019-2020 mock starting lineups and there isn't a single roster change.

First in the conference handedly through out 82 games and looked out of place in the majority of the playoff games. Would have been completely and utterly blown out if not for Smith. Something needs to change

Playing with a bad thumb doesn't stop you from skating hard or playing harder. No excuse for Monahan and his lazyness. I doubt his thumb was the problem.
