That one is on Backlund he lost his man puck watching.

Smith, what a beast, there isn't anything else he could do, what a waste of this guy's playoff spirit.

For me, Monahan has been the biggest disappointment. Slow, soft, and unable to make plays. Where did he go?

And now you need a miracle to come back - playing with no heart or desire - I can't see any way that happens.

Default Avs 3 Flames 2 on the brink

This result was inevitable. I hate to blame coaching. But Bill Peters’ game plan is an absolute travesty right now. An 8th seed that was average in shots on goal this season is getting 50 shots a game and looks like the best damn team in the world.

How has nothing changed after Monday? The Coyotes in a must win between both teams gave up just 27 shots to the Avs in OT and had 44 themselves with considerably less talent. This is inexcusable defending, some of the worst I’ve ever seen in a playoff series.

Really need to look at trading Johnny and Monahan in the summer. Brodie, Jankowski, and Neal can take a hike as well.

I’ll be cheering for Columbus from here on out.

At this point can we even trade Monahan for someone?

I would call this foolish, but hard not to agree. They don't have what it takes for playoff hockey.

Not only were we noticeably scared of the avs, but can I just add that Neal was noticeable as the worst player on the ice on most of his shifts. He just can’t keep up.

I don’t think I’ve ever posted a negative comment about a player, but I don’t know if he’s stilll an nhl player.

Flames can absolutely play with the Avs or are even arguably better (we saw glimpses of it in period 2), they are just playing scared and intimidated.

I guess being the number 1 seed was too much pressure.

They beat us to almost every puck. I think we have too many slow players. Monahan, Tkachuk, Neal, jankowski all look like they're in slow motion.

This one hurts me bad. I should be going to bed but I can only sit here stunned at how they're playing.

This isn't the team I watched all year! They're terrified. They need a whole new mindset in game 5.

It's a thin line, between love and hate.

Let them off the hook in Games 2 and 4.

Neal and Backlund with some horrible coverage there on the winning goal.

Both Monahan and Gaudreau are invisible once again.

Hard playoff hockey .... we seen it down the stretch where they fell off the cliff and that was a huge indicator for the playoffs.

Top line right now i would play Lindy, Benny and Chucky and keep them together playing 25 a game.

Docs line playing 2nd minutes

The rest who cares

Sit the floaters ... we may have a chance.

I would even play Lazar, Czarnik and Dube over the others

Sit Johnny and Money and make them watch the way a playoff top line should be.

Sink or Swim i would play it that way in game 5 as the coach ...... probably be fired with a loss but its do or doom

They didn’t think they could hold the lead or win it. You could see that.

That said, I hated watching that “game.” Call the ####ing game. Both sides. It’s just constant interference. Ugh. Playoff refereeing is the worst.

Time to blow this team up in the off season we will never win a cup with this core they are just serial losers.

Monahan, never a number one center. Gutless and has no impact to drive or change a game.

Neal can just #### off.

Feels like the 90s all over again accept the Flames would come back win a couple and then lose a good game seven overtime.

It's not over yet. They played like themselves for a good while in the game.
If we lose, I wouldn't do anything knee-jerk. They can lose and then come back next season and if they don't dominate then I'd start to look at trading away players.

Besides Neal and Janko, both useless, absolutely useless.
