Hopefully not late August. Those week 4 pre-season games are the worst.

Multiple trips to Regina in the course of a few months? Ew. What is my life coming to? Flames outdoor game, this, maybe even labour day. At least accommodations are free when I go.

I’d go if it was a regular-season game but preseason, meh. I’ve been to NFL games before.

A lot of stuff happening in life right now but I will look at it for sure especially if its their 3rd pre season game as a lot of regulars usually play that one.

Otherwise and especially if week 1 or 4, it will be a whole lot of nobodies.

But being able to say i saw the Packers on Canadian soil would be a cool deal too.

This is good for a chuckle.

The Chicago Bears are hoping a kicker named Blewitt can replace a kicker who actually did blow it for them last season.

Chicago on Wednesday signed free agent Chris Blewitt after a tryout.

Blewitt has no NFL experience, but he did spend four seasons kicking at the University of Pittsburgh, where he converted 55 of 79 attempts, including a long of 56 yards. The highlight was a 43-yarder to beat Clemson in 2016, handing the Tigers their only loss. Blewitt left Pitt as the school's career scoring leader with 363 points.

Rumours that the Browns and Giants are trying to work out an OBJ trade.

Browns really going all in as Hunt is a massive addition that's kind of been a little under the radar and the addition of OBJ would have to make them the favorites in the AFC North. I thought the 49ers made the most sense as a trade partner of all the rumors as getting their 1st round pick ensures that the Giants can take Haskins and the 49ers really could use a top level receiver as they really only have a TE featured in their offense.

OBJ is 26. Still some prime years left?

On average, our elite wideouts hit their peak around their 26th birthdays and maintain this level of production up until their 32nd birthday (again, approximately six seasons after hitting their prime), when they begin their steady decline from the top.

Oh, I hope so. I can proudly cheer for NYG again if that happens. I like to have one favourite team in each conference to hedge my bets. Though I suppose, if the impossible Dolphins-Giants SB happened, I would have to stick with the fish.

Lol Redskins for whatever reason decided to trade for Keenum. Broncos eat half the salary but that's still better than cutting him outright. Bruce Allen is one of the few GMs who might be worse at QB evaluation than Elway.

Reports are now saying the reason Pitt-Buff trade talks fell apart is because Antonio Brown refused to go to Buffalo. And now there's apparently "very few options remaining" for potential AB destinations. Wonder if he'll end up having to stay in Pittsburgh next season after all, that will be nice and awkward.

Man what a complete clown AB is, I always liked him before this whole mess started too. His vintage 90s diva star WR game is on point, he should announce his rejection of the Bills in a PC doing sit ups in his driveway.

AB throwing a tantrum because he didn't like the team he was to be traded to was always something I feared and expected. It sucks of course, I'm not holding my breath that the Steelers get a good pick at this point.

Well to give AB some credit, rather than let the Steelers humiliate him he turned the tables and destroyed his trade value. NFL should allow the Steelers to put him on the commissioners exempt list so he never plays again though, great player but really a loser of a person.

^ how exactly did they humiliate him? He left the team three times last season, he left them hanging in the most important game, he asked for a trade and bombed his trade value, he made Rooney fly to Florida to talk to him.

Roethlisberger is an #######, but that's about it.

I didn't say he wasn't a piece of crap, just that trading him to the Bills is viewed as embarrassing to everyone but Bills fans. Twitter was off the chain with the mockery last night. To AB no doubt being traded there was insulting.

to be honest, getting traded to the Bills is exactly what he would have deserved.

either you want out or you don't. Brown feels he can call the shots like he's a UFA, but he simply isn't.
